MAPPS EXTENDED works in the same way as MAPPS BASIC
but includes more features to meet the needs of your customers.
Start
SPLASH-SCREEN
After selecting the MAPPS application from the
homescreen, the ‘splash screen’ will appear, telling
the user the application is locating items nearby.
While the App searches for items near the current
location, the user may choose to set a different
location by tapping the button ‘Search near other location’.
The look-and-feel can be designed to fit your corporate identity.

Locations
LIST VIEW
The list view contains the nearest twenty results in
a scrollable list. List items show:

Title
Item details
Distance to the item
MAP VIEW
The map shows the user’s current position and all
nearby items. Users can move and zoom the map using
standard iPhone gestures.

Search
SEARCH AND FILTER
The button ‘Search’ can be used to activate keyword search
for items near the selected location. The user can also
switch between searching near current or set location and
searching another location.
The button ‘Filter’ can be used to activate filtering
items near the selected location. Items can be filtered
by using the (interdependent) option menus. The button
‘Reset all’ can be used to reset all filters to their
default values.
Information
DETAIL SCREEN
The detail screen gives the user more information about
the selected item. Users can scroll through the screen
and enlarge the item image by tapping it. Users can easily
flick through multiple images, and return to the map by
tapping the Back button.
The button ‘More’ opens up a screen that contains links
to 'Favorites' and possibly more information about
the App and/or your company.
